Simply Fighters

As the whole country is in observance of the Fire Prevention Month, Ciudad Medical Zamboanga take part to the 1st Pink Brigade Fire Olympics 2011 slated by the Bureau of Fire Protection held on March 26, 2011 at the Sta. Maria Elem. School Ground.

Protect and Serve...the mission as it is stated...

the fireman's suit that my team wore for the 2nd and 4th event..;) 

simply CMZ Fighters...(L-R: Theresa, Wayne, Ethel, Mona, Jelay, Arlene, Myself, Mait (team leader), Debbie, Angel,Ghail and Pure)... as we wait for our turn...;)

the 1st event..Rescue and Transfer Relay Operation...Mona did the fireman's carry, Wayne-lover's carry and Mait for the fireman's drag...we thought it was the proper execution that count most (thus we focused on it)....but  when we saw our score we learned that it was a time pressured...but mind you my team never had any violation for this event;)..Good Job Girls...proud you;)

2nd event..Hose Laying and Replacement of Busted Hose..;)..our time 3:38:53 not bad girls...we did it right anyway...no violation for the second time..;) Super galing..;)

3rd event..the Bucket Relay...the team only had 2mins to transfer all the water to the opposite drum...and we were able to transferred 69cm...second highest....great!

 last but not the least event...Flammable Liquid Fire Extinguisher (Theresa and Jelay) 

and of course...the day wont end without the pictorial mode;)....thank you Chairman, Execom- Doc Joven, Doc Albert, Atty Jhihann and NSO, Ancillary and Admin people for the full support you gave to CMZ Fighters;) Indeed, the whole day under the sun was worth it..as the Fighters landed 3rd placer over-all (7 groups) and 1st among the hospitals that participated. Congratulations CMZ Fighters...you made me a proud coach...:)

Simply A Dream Church

Since it will be 2 for kaladkarin this May...blogging this church is just in time..The Church and Monastery of Guadalupe. Its my first time to visit the church and guess what? I told myself... I want this to be my church (if ever..(",)..)

I was not able to get a good shot of the church it was so hot that time:)...so i slipped inside and....

this is how it looks...its not as huge as the Manila Cathedral but this is better for someone who wants to have an intimate wedding. I love the chandelier effect...when we visited the church was made ready for a wedding event...(was it a sign???)...

  I just love the atmosphere here...

Simply Relaxation

Too much of toxic world...the team decided to run east coast...off to charm's haven...FISHPOND MODE....here are some vistas that made us stayed longer under the sun...;)

we used to call these birds "Garsa"...I'm not sure if its really their name...but what I know I still love to see them until now...they remind me of teamwork and unity:)

 the tranquility of the place...is one that i like most;)

and of course with the kaladkarin...its a perfect relaxation day...
